MY 10 RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012

MY 10 RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012

This coming year, I have decided that with God's help, I shall:-

Give up complaining . . . focus on gratitude.

Give up harsh judgments . . . think kind thoughts.

Give up worry . . . trust divine providence.

Give up discouragement . . . be full of hope.

Give up bitterness . . . turn to forgiveness.

Give up hatred . . . return good for evil.

Give up anger . . . practice patience.

Give up pettiness . . . put on maturity.

Give up gloom. . . enjoy the beauty that is around me.

Give up gossiping . . . control my tongue.

My prayer for you in 2012 is that you will:
* Accept the shortcomings in others and realize it is not your responsibility to correct them, it is God’s to perfect them
* Understand your own shortcomings and allow God to perfect them, in His own time
* Reach out to help those whom you can help
* Accept help from those who wish to help you
* Understand that God loves you
* Understand that God wants you to love others

May you have bountiful blessings in 2012

GOD....thinking about God........

"THINKING ABOUT GOD"
God is like Coca Cola,
He is the real thing!

God is like General Electric,
He lights your path!

God is like Bayer Aspirin,
He works wonders!

God is like Hallmark Cards,
He cared enough to send the very best!

God is like Tide Soap,
He removes the stains others leave behind!

God is like Dial Soap,
Aren't you glad you know Him, don't you
wish everyone did?

God is like American Express,
Don't leave home with out Him!

happy new year...each day

Each Day

A new year just beginning,
Each day a fresh, new start,
To fulfill your hopes
And pursue the dreams
Sustained within your heart.

Put God in charge;
He'll plant the seeds
Of affection, love and care.
Like a garden, your life will grow
With kindness flowering there.

And as you face the wonder
Of each day's mysteries,
You'll see God's hand
Unfolding, daily, possibilities!

And as each day comes to a close,
Dream a dream or two,
Then with a prayer thank dear God
For each day given to you.
